The Palms, a college crowd's sort of place, serves one of the best hamburgers in town and excellent sandwiches and salads. Full bar. Jeans and tee shirts. Open seven days for lunch and dinner.

The Bistro offers wonderful food in a small space, Christopher's is a good small steak and seafood place, and Tuscany is your basic Italian restaurant. All are good; give them a try!

Mrs. Rowe's, at Exit 222 off of I-81 , has a reputation for good, old-fashioned comfort foods. A little-known fact:  Mrs. Rowe started her first restaurant right across Mill Creek from the Hummingbird back in the 50's!

Wright's Drive-in is a classic 1950's drive-in (not a re-creation) with carhop service. Good burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes.
